Our parish is under the diocese of Kolkatha of the Indian Orthodox Syrian Church under the spiritual leadership of H.H. Moran Mar Baselios Marthoma Didymos I. It is based in Kuwait. Our parish have 2,000 registered members. Total members including family members are more than 5,500.Our website was inaugurated by H.G.Dr.Yakob Mar Irenaios, Metropolitan of the diocese of Madras on 7th Nov, 2002. Malankara Metropolitan and Catholicose of the East H.H Moran Mar Baselios Marthoma Didymos 1 elevated our church to the status of "Maha Edavaka" on Ist November 2007.

“The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want” (Ps 23:1). He is a good shepherd and expects us to be one of His sheep. “And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear my voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd” (Jn10:16). The ultimate desire of the true shepherd is that all should belong to Him, should hear His voice, and should follow Him. The good shepherd leads His sheep to eternal life (vs.28). Let us be His sheep and let Him be our Shepherd.
“I AM WHO I AM” IS “I AM THE GOOD SHEPHERD”
Prayer: - Lord, you are the good shepherd. I offer up thanks to you for shepherding me through out past years. I thank you for the green pastures and fresh water fountains. Forgive me for the many times when I left your fold and walked according to my will. Let me always be satisfied as one of your sheep. Amen. |
