Sunday School Announcements

1.      Ecumenical Quiz will be conducted on 20^th October 2007 (Saturday) from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm at NECK.  Children and parents are requested to attend and cheer up our students and adult teams.

2.      26^th October 2007 – Parish Harvest Festival at Al Shaab Garden.  All children are requested to be at the garden by 10:00 am to receive the VIP guests.  White dress preferred.

3.      1^st November 2007 – Perunal procession and Parish day.  No regular classes but all children are requested to be at the church by 5:15 pm in white dress (black & white for boys) to take part in the procession.

4.      World Sunday School day celebrations on 2^nd November 2007 (Friday) from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm at NECK.  All students are requested to attend.  Most Rev. Chrysotom Thirumeny of Marthoma Church and other bishops will grace the occasion.  Children are requested to wear white dress as far as possible.  Offertory will be taken and refreshments will be served after the event.  Happy prince buses will be available from all normal pick up points.

5.      SSFC examination on 14^th December 2007 at UIS from 10:30 am – 3:30 pm.  Extra classes for SSFC students on every Friday except 4^th Friday from 8:15 am to 10:30 am at NECK.

6.      Those who have not received Kaleidoscope/Gregorian 2006 could obtain it during Sunday School class.

7.      Service of Dedication for all children reaching the age of 12 on 18^th December.  Preparation and confession on 6^th December and 13^th December.  Further details will be announced later.

8.      Last date to submit materials for Kaleidoscope 2007 is 1^st November 2007.  Parents are requested to encourage children to come up with poems, short stories, paintings, drawings, essays, travel accounts, quizzes etc.

9.      Our current timings are 5:30 – 5:45 pm Assembly; 5:45 – 6:45 class.  Pre-KG class will be dispersed 10 minutes early to avoid rush by other children. 

10.  OVBS theme for 2008 has been declared.  Psalm 103:3 ‘God who heals all your diseases’.  Children and adults are encouraged to compose songs based on the theme and pass on to Mr. M. U. Mathews, Church Choir Master.
